"Power of Technology"

My first finished painting from A&D 259 and my first experiment with encaustic. The text in the background is actual, (semi)working code from Compilers and EPICS. My formal statement about this painting is that technology brings about a lot of power (thus the symbol in the center), but it has negative effects as well. (Wow, isn't that deep? Not.) In reality, I needed a complete painting for crit, I hadn't done an encaustic yet, I knew it would be faster to finish than pure oil, and I was angry at computer science. Voila.
