finished work

Seeing that I rarely have both the time and inspiration to revise, there probably won't be a whole lot of works in this section. I'd love to one day put together a collection of finished poems that I'm satisfied with.

  • Sonnet: Pressing Flower Petals - I wrote this originally as an exercise in my writing journal for English class. The idea came to me when I was (gee) pressing flower petals, and at first I wanted to write a short story, but I was too lazy to do it.
  • Reverse Glimpses of the Early Hours - This isn't really a revised and finished work, but it was something written on the spur of the moment from a prompt for a poem about the hours of the night when most people are sleeping. It isn't great academically, but hey, it's finished.
  • Chasing After the Wind - This isn't a poem, it's a short story, but I haven't written enough of those to warrant a new section. It's the first complete short story I've written since 8th grade, and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.
